Our delightful barn conversion that was once the old dairy on the farm —Nestled in a picturesque hillside with simply breath taking views that have to be seen to be believed of the open countryside to the Lowther hills, just a mile from the charming village of Sanquhar in southern Scotland. This idyllic retreat is designed for those seeking a peaceful & relaxing holiday whilst remaining close to local attractions so you really can have the best of both worlds.

The Dairy is ideal for couples, friends, or anyone in need of a peaceful escape with a side of adventure.
Inside, the cottage is bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for relaxed living. The open-plan living and dining area is great for gathering after a day out, with soft sofas, a smart TV, and a large table for lazy breakfasts or evening feasts. There’s no open fire, but it’s snug and warm year-round thanks to modern heating throughout.
Two comfy bedrooms
The kitchen has everything you need — oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all the bits and pieces for proper cooking. Whether you’re whipping up a picnic or a Sunday roast, you’ll have what you need.
There are 2 comfy bedrooms: one double, & 1 super king/twin room — both with crisp linens, fluffy pillows, and storage for your gear. The main bathroom has a full-size bath with spa jets and overhead shower, toilet.

Outside, enjoy your own private garden space with outdoor seating and big skies above. You have to soak in those views to believe them, they really are something special. It is the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee, al fresco dining or simply enjoying a good book with a glass of bubbly & your furry companion stretched out at your feet!
The cottage has electric central heating throughout & is all on one level for ease of all guests, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi are included. if you are bringing your furry friend then doggie extras are provided!
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are very welcome to stay but they must be kept on a lead at all times if not in the cottage or cottage garden as we do sometimes have animals free roaming that would not like to be chased.
